A Logan pub has reopened after undergoing a massive $1.5 million renovation with a new menu to match.
Browns Plains Hotel has been serving the local community since 1976 – but now has had a luxurious upgrade.
Brown Plains Hotel’s bistro has undergone a transformation with new finishes and furniture, to offer a casual and family-friendly dining experience.
With a refreshed bistro, revamped outdoor terrace and new kids play area, the pub is perfect for everyone and sports fans will love catching all the action live and loud including every PPV and UFC event.
The adjoining outdoor terrace has been revamped for all-year-round alfresco drinking and dining, alongside the new kids play area.
The new menu offers Queensland pub classics, with generous serving sizes to offer customers amazing value. Executive Chef Dylan Kemp’s menu includes burgers, steaks with plenty of toppers choices, a seafood basket, and an epic Parmigeddon section.
Parmigeddon offers diners seven flavours of 350g hand crumbed chicken schnitzels, served with chips and house salad. Options include The Schnitzel, The Parmy, The French, The Outback and The Mexican.
The Sports Bar is a great place to gather with every Pay-Per-View and UFC Event playing live and loud. Plus, Thursday is Karaoke night and Sundays will offer free pool games.
The Gaming Room has been modernised to set new standards for gaming venues in the region, including updated finishes, new machines and a fresh layout.
Locals are invited to the celebratory launch weekend from September 1 to September 3 where they can enjoy free food tastings, live music, kids’ entertainment, Tradie Club and prizes including a Weber giveaway.
In addition to the launch weekend activities, those looking to treat dad on Father’s Day with a breakfast fit for a king need look no further than Browns Plains Hotel. The pub will be serving up a buffet breakfast with all the favourites included from 8am to 10am. Adults priced $36, 13-17 year olds $25, 6-12 year olds $15, 5 year olds and under are free.
Browns Plains Hotel Venue Manager Sarah Kelly said she was excited to be fully reopening the venue for guests to see the new look and enjoy the new menu.
“Browns Plains Hotel has been a favourite watering hotel for locals for many decades and now the pub has been refreshed, establishing it as a fresh destination for everyone of all ages,” she said.
“Whether it’s drinks and snacks after work, date night, gathering with friends, mates catching some sport or long family lunches, we have a spot for everyone at Browns Plains Hotel.
“We can’t wait to welcome our locals back through the doors.”
Browns Plains Hotel will give back to those in need through its Local Heroes program by supporting Rural Aid, which provides critical support to farmers affected by natural disaster, creating more sustainable communities by building stronger futures for all Australian farmers. Browns Plains Hotel will donate $1 from every Parmy sold every Wednesday to Rural Aid, through the Local Heroes program.
Browns Plains Hotel is fully re-open to guests.
