A devastated Logan father says he would trade his life to save his daughter’s after his “beautiful baby girl” died in a car crash which he claims was caused by her boyfriend’s driving.

In the week since his daughter’s tragic death a grieving Logan father says he has hardly left his bed, where he’s been glued to his phone, crying over pictures and memories of his “beautiful baby girl”.

Beenleigh resident Karl Parker’s daughter, Kasie-Lee Parker, died on September 12 when the car she was a passenger in crashed into another car, then a tree, with such impact the car split in half.

Her boyfriend of nine months, 18-year-old Daniel Moffitt from Corowa, was driving a Ford Falcon on Redlands Road when he crashed into a Holden Commodore, then crashed into a tree near the fence line of Corowa State High School around 7.40pm.

Ms Parker, 19, had recently moved to NSW from Beenleigh and died at the scene while Mr Moffitt died in an ambulance on the way to Albury Base Hospital.

Police reportedly said they believed Mr Moffitt was trying to overtake the car his twin brother, Bryce Moffitt, was driving.

Bryce Moffitt was uninjured but was taken to Corowa Hospital for mandatory checks.

New South Wales Police confirmed investigations were ongoing and no charges had been laid.

Ms Parker was originally from Beenleigh where she attended the local primary and high school.

Her father said she moved to Corowa about nine months ago, where she was the assistant manager at the local McDonald’s.

“She told me she’d met this guy on the internet and was going down there to meet him. I asked her not to go but she was 18 so I couldn’t stop her,” Mr Parker said.

“It was really hard but I had to let her make her own decisions.

“She fell in love and stayed down there. About two months before the crash she visited me. It was the last time I got to see her.”

Mr Parker said his daughter, her boyfriend and his twin brother were all on their way home from a dinner when the crash happened.

He said he believed her boyfriend, Daniel Moffitt, who also died, was speeding when the crash happened.

“For the car to split in half like that when it hit the tree he (Daniel Moffitt) must have been going pretty fast,” Mr Parker said.

Mr Parker has now been left with the task of organising his daughter’s funeral, which the Beenleigh concreter said was going to cost about $14,000.

“I left my place for the first time in days this morning to meet with the funeral directors,” Mr Parker said.

“I’ve been a mess. Have hardly left my room. I’ve just been in bed crying, looking over photos and videos of her.

“It’s been just us since she was 10 years old.

“She was such a beautiful girl. So young with her whole life ahead of her and now she’s gone.”

When his daughter came home about two months ago, Mr Parker said he took her out to dinner and the two spent a lot of quality time together.

“She was always my beautiful baby girl,” he said.

“I liked to spoil her as much as possible.

“We were so close and she told me everything. All about him (her boyfriend who also died in the crash, Daniel Moffitt).

“I never met him but I never liked him … (Daniel Moffitt) killed my daughter.

“Now it feels like the end of the world … this is the worst pain I’ve ever felt.

“If I could give up my life for hers I would. Any parent would understand and do the same.”

There is a GoFundMe campaign raising money for Ms Parker’s funeral.
