A young woman has been charged with six offences, including refusing to unlock mobile phones suspected of being used in the commission drug offences.

A 22-year-old Beaudesert woman has been charged with six offences, including possessing weapons, a quantity of white powder and drug utensils, following a raid on her address.
Chloe Anne Weier spent the weekend in the watch house before being granted bail in Beenleigh Magistrates Court yesterday on conditions including that she not have a mobile phone.

Ms Weier was charged with possessing knuckledusters and nunchucks, possessing dangerous drugs and drug utensils, possessing a Schedule 3 (generally more than 2g) amount of a “white powder” substance yet to be analysed, and refusing to unlock mobile phones for police inspection.
In opposing bail, police prosecutor Sgt Darrel Armfield said Ms Weier had an “extensive history” of drug-type offending.
He told the court before today, Ms Weier was last in court for breaching community service orders in May last year.
Weier received a seven-month Intensive Correction Order the month prior.
Defence lawyer Lex Weddell said Weier received a Centrelink benefit and was enrolled in a Tertiary Preparation course at the University of Southern Queensland.
Regarding the alleged possession of two weapons, Mr Weddell submitted there was “no suggestion of misconduct”.
He said Ms Weier had simply forgotten the passcodes to the old phones police requested and there was no “deliberate” action to conceal them.
Weier’s charges will be mentioned again in Beaudesert Magistrates Court on September 8.
