A Logan woman has pleaded guilty in court to three counts of fraud involving more than $14,000 in total.

The lengthiest fraud, which commenced on April 3, 2018, was also the costliest for her victim, netting $9800 for Dedic.

Another fraud, committed at Caboolture between April 22 – May 9, 2019, netted her $3600, while her smallest fraud, at Pacific Pines, resulted in $1924 being defrauded.

It’s understood at least some of the frauds relate to former friends of Dedic’s.

Since being charged with the three counts of fraud, Dedic has committed two further offences, both of which she has pleaded guilty to also: stealing a jar of honey from Chemist Warehouse Shailer Park on April 3, 2019, and driving unlicensed on the Gold Coast on April 23, 2019.

Dedic was to be sentenced in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday, but the sentence was adjourned to give the defendant, who is employed, a chance to repay the money to her victims.

The court heard this could be the difference between actual time or a suspended sentence.

Dedic will be sentenced on January 21 next year.
