Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday heard the incident occurred just before 10pm on June 21.
Police were patrolling the Crestmead area when they intercepted Kussrow due to the “erratic” manner of her driving.
When they engaged her in conversation, they noticed her “eyes were glassy and she had a strong smell of liquor” to her, the court heard.
Kussrow returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.171 per cent.
Defence solicitor Candice Hughes told the court heard client had no intention of driving but had an argument with her friend with whom she was staying and “thought it best” to leave.
“She knows it was a very dangerous and disappointing decision,” Ms Hughes told the court.
Kussrow, who has already been without a licence for five months, was disqualified for a further six months, the minimum, and fined $600.
A conviction was recorded.
