REPLAY – 129 Princess St, Kangaroo Point – 4 Bed / 2 Bath / 2 Car on 405sq m
The owners of this renovated character home have held it for 10 years and in another 10 it will earn the title of ‘Olympic Precinct Entertainer’ being two streets away from the Gabba. It features a swimming pool, shed, decks front and rear, open-plan living areas and onsite parking. Agents: Tony O’Doherty and Kaylee Doyle, Belle Property Bulimba; Auctioneer: Justin Nickerson
REPLAY – 8 Sunset Pl, Carindale – 5 Bed / 3 Bath / 2 Car on 800sq m
A family home on the market for the first time since being built in 1998, this MacArthur Park Estate home is attracting south-side families.
“The floorplan has stayed the same but the house has had a complete refresh, new paint, floor coverings, lighting and light switches, kitchen and bathroom updates and landscaping,” Space Property selling agent Michael Shean says.
The sellers are moving interstate to Sydney. Agent: Michael Shean, Space Property Ashgrove; Auctioneer: Justin Nickerson
REPLAY – 11 Noel St, Hendra – 3 Bed / 2 Bath / 6 Car on 708sq m
A three-week campaign has seen 36 buyers view this home with multiple pre-auction offers ahead of Saturday’s auction.
“A lot of buyers are wanting to keep it as a family home and do a big renovation,” Belle Property selling agent Brooke Hawthorne says.
“This is an entry level property for Hendra and a lot of young families and executives live here because it has the suburban feel but it’s close to the city and the roads to the coast.”
The property has had one owner who has lived here for 24 years. Agent: Brooke Hawthorne, Belle Property Ascot; Auctioneer: David Holmes
REPLAY – 12 Corner St, Grange – 6 Bed / 3 Bath 3 Car on 1035sq m
There will be interstate and local bidders at the auction of this grand heritage home that has been extended and redesigned by Andre Gildea Architects.
“We’ve had interest from locals who’ve been looking in the inner north, a bidder who’s already registered from Sydney and inquiry from Melbourne,” Space Property selling agent Debora Sutton says.
“Lots of the locals are looking to upgrade and some have not been looking but recognise this is a landmark property that they’ve always admired.”
The sellers raised a family here over 20 years and are now downsizing.

REPLAY – 12 Yarrabin St, Coorparoo – 3 Bed / 1 Bath / 1 Car on 405sq m
Returning to market after three years is this three-bedroom house that can be renovated further or enjoyed as is. The standout feature of this home is a repurposed brick fireplace with a 900mm combined cooktop and oven. The house has a neutral colour scheme, and an open-plan living and dining area. Agent: Cliff Tar, Place Coorparoo; Auctioneer: Peter Burgin
REPLAY – 13 Gresham St, East Brisbane 5 Bed / 4 Bath / 2 Car on 506sq m
There’s a pre-war worker’s cottage at the front of this home but it has been reimagined as part of an extensive renovation that sees the property on 506sq m look almost brand new with the master bedroom ensuite winning a Master Builders award for best bathroom. Place Estate Agents’ James Curtain says Mirambeena is drawing interest from families wanting a house of good architectural integrity on a sought-after street. The owners have bought another house already. Agent: James Curtain, Place Woolloongabba; Auctioneer: Peter Burgin
REPLAY – 94 Lloyd St, Alderley – 3 Bed / 1 Bath / 3 Car on 1174sq m
On the market for the first time in 70 years, this house is attracting local homeowners and developers. It was built across two lots and has no character overlay, so there is the potential to renovate the existing home and build a new one on the second lot, or remove the house and build two new dwellings.
“It would be the largest block on the street and in the area,” Place Newmarket selling agent Matthew Jabs says. Agents: Matthew Jabs and Ross Armstrong, Place Newmarket; Auctioneer: Peter Burgin
REPLAY – 150 Gallipoli Rd, Carina Heights – 3 Bed / 1 Bath / 2 Car on 606sq m
A short two-week campaign sees this cute cottage with a wraparound veranda come to auction on Saturday after more than 45 groups of buyers inspected the home.
“There’s limited opportunity for buyers to buy so you need to give them a quicker resolution,” Place Bulimba selling agent Joanna Gianniotis says.
“It’s been really cute seeing lots of young couples come through and there’s been a bit of interstate interest as well.
The sellers have lived in this house since 2005 and have completed a recent renovation. Agents: Joanna Gianniotis and Gali Head, Place Bulimba; Auctioneer: Paul Curtain
REPLAY – 6 Heyford St, Mount Gravatt East – 3 Bed / 1 Bath / 3 Car on 764sq m
First-home buyers bought this property in August 2019 for less than $650,000. They are upsizing to a larger family home in Holland Park in a sale that settled on Friday. The three-bedroom house has had a few cosmetic updates and is still first-home buyer territory but the pandemic has increased median home values in Mount Gravatt East by 45 per cent. As an entry level home, this auction will also attract mum and dad investors and developers looking for a large lot homesite to build new.
“That little pocket of Mount Gravatt East is hot right now,” Place Bulimba’s Dion Tolley says. “And you’ll see over the next 18 months to two years numerous newly-built homes and a gentrification of the area.” Agent: Dion Tolley, Place Bulimba; Auctioneer: Paul Curtain
