“We had a lot of young couples and young families who loved it. It’s within walking distance to the private schools in Kedron so that was a big draw. And the land size, people want a big block of land. They also love the Queenslander charm and character along with the potential – you can live in it as is or raise it and build underneath.”

"It was fantastic, it's a rare opportunity to find a block of units like this one. We had a lot of interest from investors with a lot of entities and trusts involved right up to the last moment," Ms Gianniotis said.
"Blocks of units are very much in demand, people see them as a solid investment. I had buyers today saying they would take money out of the share market if they were successful as they saw a long term investment in maintaining it.
"The market is amazing, the demand is still there. People are recognising that buying a property is a great long term plan and that we're still very good value compared to other states."
The new owners are investors from North Queensland.
