While the Brisbane Lions may not have taken out the AFL Grand Final today, the Brisbane property market has remained exceptionally strong, despite the long weekend.
Agents reported big numbers at open homes and auctions across Greater Brisbane and surrounds as well as a majority of the auctions we've covered today have sold under the hammer.
It definitely looks like the competitive Brisbane property market is here to stay.

A four-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 741 Haven Road, Upper Brookfield has passed in.
Property agent Taylah-Raye Wilson from Ray White Wilston said despite the result today the campaign was going well with buyers interested in the property.
"We have a number of buyers interested outside of auction conditions," Ms Wilson said.
"I am feeling confident in the market, I feel there is still good buyer interest in open homes.
"This weekend we’re getting high attendance numbers for our opens.
"While there are listings increasing there is still excitement from buyers."
A two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment at 105/14 Priory Street, Indooroopilly has sold under the hammer at an undisclosed price.
Director & Selling Principal at Ray White Indooroopilly King & Cobley, Kirrilli Cobley said the campaign went well.
"It's quite a unique two bedder, it was a well received campaign from our buyers," Ms Cobley said.
"The new owners are relocating to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast.
"The property market is exceptional at the market. It's really busy, we're seeing low supply and I guess because house prices are quite expensive the apartment market is really strong at the moment too."
A five-bedroom, five-bathroom home at 107 Major Drive, Rochedale has passed in at auction for $2.2m.
Property agent Emily Xiong from LJ Hooker Sunnybank Hills and Mount Gravatt said they were dealing with conditional offers outside of auction conditions.
"The campaign was really strong, it's such a beautiful big house," Ms Xiong said.
"The property market is going well in this area but we still have an issue with the shortage of stock.
A five-bedroom, four-bathroom home at 2 Mounthill Street, Hillcrest has sold under the hammer for $1.13m with an opening bid of $950,000.
Eight bidders registered to part in the auction today.
Property agent Rocky Bhullar from Ray White Acacia Ridge said it was a really good campaign.
"Most of the buyers we've seen through this property are local. I think the price we got today may even be a record for Hillcrest.
"The property market is crazy at the moment, we’ve had a lot of enquiries from buyers.
"As long as it’s a good house and ticks the boxes for buyers it is doing good."
A four-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 15 Mornington Crescent, Morningside passed in at auction today.
Property agent Zita Durand from Ray White, Bulimba said despite the result she had buyers with conditional offers interested in the property.
"With the tightness of the market, people are wanting to sell before they buy.
"They’re nervous they’re not going to find something so unable to bid at auction.
Ms Durand said the property market in her side of Brisbane was going really well.
"It’s going really well, despite passing in at auction today to have six bidders is a strong turnout of buyers. I think that shows strength in the market itself.
"I do think the current market is being driven by the lack of stock but demand is higher."
A four-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 47 Oakwal Terrace, Windsor has passed in.
Despite the result, property agent Debora Sutton from SPACE Property Ashgrove said she was dealing with buyers outside of auction conditions.
"I'm currently dealing with buyers with conditional offers at the moment," Ms Sutton said.
A four-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 26 Roselea Street, Shailer Park has sold under the hammer for $755,000 with an opening bid of $600,000.
10 bidders registered to take part in the auction.
Property agent Alex Carter from Harcourts Living, Cornubia said the home had an excellent campaign.
"There was a lot of interest in this property, more than we anticipated. For the first open home we had 31 groups through," Mr Carter said.
"The reserve was set at $595,000, so the seller was ecstatic.
"We’ve seen the market have a bit of a pick up over the last few weeks, we haven’t seen any slow down with interest rates.
"We had the two auctions today in Shailer Park that sold well over reserve and are seeing a great increase in buyer enquires."
A five-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 20 Catalpa Street, Eight Mile Plains sold under the hammer for $1.371m with an opening bid of $900,000.
11 bidders registered to take part in the auction.
Property agent George Yang from Ray White Sunnybank Hills said he was surprised by the result today due to the fewer than usual groups that inspected the property.
"The numbers through the open home weren’t huge for the area so we saw about 32 groups through a four week campaign," Mr Yang said.
"Normally I’d expect double that before auction, there were a few that just showed up today.
"In terms of the property market on the south side of Brisbane, the good properties are still selling well, the ones in the good streets that are really well kept are seeing strong results too.
"There is more out there but buyers are more conservative, they aren’t just going with anything, they’re making sure that things are ticking the boxes."
A three-bedroom, one-bathroom home at 59 Yarabah Crescent, Shailer Park has sold under the hammer for $655,000.
Nine bidders registered to take part in the auction.
Property agent Jill Carter from Harcourts Living, Cornubia said she was happy with the result today.
"We had huge enquiry on this property due to it being a renovator in the heart of Shailer Park," Ms Carter said.
