BEAUTIFUL one day, perfect the next. We’ve scoured the state for the homes that live up to Queensland’s favourite catchphrase.
The Courier-Mail real estate team has once again searched far and wide to put together this year’s list of 50 of the Sunshine State’s best homes.
From the dazzling city lights of Hamilton Hill to glamorous hinterland hideaways and, of course, some of the best beach shacks you’ve ever laid eyes on. See the full list below.

One of the most talked about property transformations of the year makes our list — Kangaroo Point’s iconic ‘Lamb House’.
Now the scaffolding has been removed, ‘Home’ as it’s now known, has been revealed in all its restored glory.
‘Villa Casa’ in the Gold Coast hinterland — the home of power couple Lance “Buddy” Franklin and his wife Jesinta — makes the cut for its exposed concrete, custom skylights and 360 degree views.
And so did ‘Dahlia Estate’ — a five-bedroom showstopper built into the side of a hill in Tallebudgera Valley that recently sold for $11.2 million under the hammer, smashing the suburb record.
But it’s not all about aesthetics. We’ve also included some of the more controversial properties of the year, such as the Gold Coast home of social media identity and entrepreneur Troy “Candy” Williams, which sold to none other than his buddy and business partner, Adrian “Lambo guy” Portelli, who never fails to make headlines.
