TWO huge Brisbane riverfront properties belonging to the daughter of the late mining magnate Ken Talbot have sold for $10.4m.
Developer Phil Pezzi of Capital Luxury Residences has snapped up the neighbouring homes at 35 and 39 McConnell Street in Bulimba.
Jordan and James Navybox from Cohen Handler represented Mr Pezzi, who is exploring either creating one large mansion on the site or building two executive homes.

The massive pieces of real estate, spanning a combined 2123 sqm with a 40m water frontage, will be transformed into luxury housing projects.
Ms Talbot put the properties on the market in February with Sarah Hackett of Place Estate Agents, with offers considered for them to be sold separately or as a package.
Mrs Hackett said the property at 35 McConnell Street sold for $5.5m, while the site next door fetched $4.9m.
Records show Ms Talbot’s company, Artemis Investments, purchased 35 McConnell Street in 2016 for $3.8m.
The property includes a two-level, five-bedroom home featuring a glass-encased pool with diving boards and full bathroom, a four-car garage, a private jetty and a pontoon with a jet ski slip.
Next door at 39 McConnell Street is a more modest, four-bedroom home on 1056 sqm.
Mrs Hackett said the properties attracted more than eight offers, mostly from local buyers, including one couple who wanted to make it one large home with a tennis court.
“It shows there’s still plenty of interest for riverfront homes,” she said. “There are more buyers than sellers out there.”
She declined to comment on the identities of the buyers or sellers.
Ken Talbot was one of Australia’s richest men, worth more than $1bn, when he died in a plane crash in Congo in 2010.
At the time of listing, Ms Talbot told the Courier-Mail: “I would love to see two families buy the properties and enjoy all the area has to offer, but there is understandably developer interest right along the river.”
The sale follows an ugly family feud over her father’s fortune which played out in the Supreme Court last year.
Ms Talbot, 37, is one two children from his first marriage, the other being race car driver Liam Talbot, 39.
Cohen Handler buyers agents purchased $58m worth of residential property last month on behalf of their clients.
