Coastal and regional areas dominate the line-up, continuing on from 2021 when lifestyle properties were the star performers.
A total of 18 homes have made it to auction day, including a mansion at Hope Island on the Gold Coast (pictured above), and two homes at Port Douglas in Far North Queensland.
Brisbane has six auctions, all in outer Brisbane suburbs and at price points to attract first-home buyers, including Wishart in Brisbane’s south, which topped the country for the highest number of average active bidders per auction last year at 9.4 per auction. It also holds the record for the largest number of bidders at a single auction in Australia last year, with 51 bidders. And don't miss the auction of a three-bedroom house at Regents Park, a southern Brisbane suburb with a median house price of just over $500,000.
