On offer is an array of apartments, penthouses, warehouses and commercial spaces from across the Gold Coast.

The annual event, in its 31st year, is attracting a large number of interstate buyers and while stock levels are 30 per cent lower than last year, buyer inquiry levels are just nine per cent lower.

The Australian auction season has launched on the Gold Coast with more than $23m worth of property selling under the hammer in the biggest in-room auction event in the country.
Almost 70 homes headed under the hammer at the Royal Pines Resort at Benowa on Sunday with 302 registered bidders among the crowd of 400.
“This is as big as you get in the country,” Ray White Surfers Paradise chief executive officer and The Event organiser Andrew Bell said.
The top auction sale was $4.4m for a Paradise Point trophy home at 24 Norseman Court, while the best deal of the day was an apartment sale for $245,000.
The Event had a preliminary auction clearance rate of 56 per cent, including pre-auction sales however Mr Bell said he expected this would increase to 85 or 90 per cent over the course of the next week.
“People are still trying to get their finger on the pulse of what the market is doing,” Mr Bell said. “But the key thing is there’s a lot of interest and people stayed with us to the end even though they weren’t bidding on property.”
The weekend auction event will be followed up on Tuesday with the Amir Prestige Group Summer Grand Auction event and the Lucy Cole Prestige Properties Alfresco Auction event on Saturday as the Gold Coast property market schedules auctions to capitalise on increased tourist numbers through summer.

We're on the home stretch at the largest in-room auction event in the country and more than $21m has sold since Ray White Surfers Paradise boss Andrew Bell kicked off the event this morning. The $4.4m sale of 24 Norseman Court, Paradise Waters has been the top auction sale of the day. The five-bedroom trophy home was sold by Erica and Chris Owen. Ray White Surfers Paradise boss Andrew Bell has admonished an auction day crowd for underbidding for a Level 53 apartment in Australia's tallest residential tower. Bidding started as low as $600,000 for the two-bedroom apartment that is owned by an overseas seller.

"No, I'm starting at $800,000," Mr Bell told bidders in the grand ballroom of the Royal Pines Resort.
Several bidders then took the property to $840,000, still too low to put the apartment on the market.
"I'm not sure everyone knows where we are," Mr Bell said before pausing the auction at $945,000.

Gold Coast university student Kevin Rathore, 20, knew exactly where the Q1 tower was but he also knew his budget.
"I'm a student at the moment so I didn't want to spend too much," he said.
Mr Rathore, with his dad on the phone in Sydney, increased his bid to $965,000 and he bought the apartment under the hammer.
"I was really happy with the price," he said. "This is my first home. I’m originally from Sydney so I've seen how that market is. Living on the Gold Coast is a different type of market and I’m happy to move here."
