Cav’s Steakhouse founder Richard Cavill and his wife Marree are selling their Runaway Bay home after 18 years of happy memories.
The couple have put their four-bedroom house on the “exclusive” Daru Ave cul-de-sac on the market through Ray White Prestige Gold Coast.
It is set to be auctioned on January 28 at The Event, which will be held at Royal Pines Resort.
Mr Cavill said he and his family was downsizing and looking for a new home nearby.
“We are happy to move on and downsize because the kids are just about finished school, so we decided to downsize in 2024 when the right place comes up (for sale) along the Broadwater shore,” he said.
“We will be anywhere between Labrador and Paradise Point.
‘We have been there for 18 years and it is a great place to raise the kids and the families (in the street) are great so we will be really sad to leave.”
According to its listing, the house sits on a 741sq m block, has its own 30m private beach with deep water frontage and a pontoon which can house a 100-foot boat.
Its key features include having four bedrooms and a study which can be a fifth bedroom, three separate living areas and close access to the Broadwater, nearby schools and shopping centres.
