A Bayside apartment complex has sold over sixty per cent of its offerings before its construction.

The $5.5m ‘Bayrise Apartments’ complex located at 11 Drayton Terrace, Wynnum is being developed by Brisbane based developer Niclin and designed by Architectural Collaborative.

Director of Elever Propety Group Jason Bond said the results were fantastic.
“It’s a strong that in a complex like this one we’ve got 16 apartments on offer, we’ve achieved 10 sales and construction hasn’t even started yet.”
“There’s a lot of post-war homes in Wynnum, the local council is quite pro knocking down the older houses and we’re seeing a massive transformation with new cafes, new shops coming to the area,” Mr Bond said.

“I think the investment market is a lot slower than what it used to be.
“A lot of the buyers for this complex are downsizers and first home buyers.”

A recent sale for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit at 303/11 Drayton Terrace, Wynnum sold for $650,000

According to PropTrack, the median price for a two-bedroom unit in Wynnum between July 2022 and June 2023 is $547,500, up 8.4% over the last 12 months.

The estimated completion date of the complex has not yet been confirmed.
