Maua Lagaaia granted bail in St George Magistrates Court following alleged fatal Dalby pub assault
The man accused of striking Lincoln Hoad in the head, which police allege caused his death, has been granted bail after appearing on upgraded charges.

A man who police allege struck a Dalby man outside a regional pub last weekend has been granted bail two days after the alleged victim was pronounced dead in hospital.
Maua Lagaaia had his matter mentioned in St George Magistrates Court on Tuesday who had been remanded in custody at the Toowoomba watch house and applied for bail after his original charge of grievous bodily harm was upgraded to unlawfully striking to cause death.
The Capalaba man originally applied for bail on Monday, but was remanded in custody until the new charge was finalised.
A plea has not yet been entered.
Magistrate Aaron Simpson granted the man bail and adjourned the matter to be next mentioned on November 14 in Dalby Magistrates Court.
