Alleged shooters Dean Edward Charles Cubby and Jeffrey Alexander Ward-Sinclair mentioned in Dalby Magistrates Court
The pair of men charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting a Western Downs electrician who was on the job earlier this year have had their matters mentioned in court.

The two men who police allege shot at a Dalby electrician before taking off in a car, causing a full-scale pursuit to Toowoomba, have had their matters mentioned before court.
Following the alleged shooting, police allege the pair took off in a full-scale pursuit along one of Toowoomba’s busiest streets which resulted in their car crashing into a motorcyclist who was then treated by paramedics at the scene.
Defence lawyer Brad Skuse, who is representing Mr Cubby, appeared in Dalby Magistrates Court on August 29 where he requested for outstanding matters related to the brief of evidence be sent to his office.
Mr Skuse appeared on behalf of McConnell and Saldumbide Criminal Lawyers who are representing Mr Ward-Sinclair and said conferencing with the man had been delayed due to him being moved in the prison system.
“There was an office booked but he’s been moved in the prison,” Mr Skuse said.
Mr Cubby faces charges which include attempted murder, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possessing utensils, robbery with actual violence, unlawful possession of weapons and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Mr Ward-Sinclair has been charged with attempted, robbery with actual violence, unlawful possession of weapons, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerously operate or interfere with vehicle, two counts of driving without a licence and an evasion offence.
