A Toowoomba woman who was caught trafficking in a range of drugs, including methamphetamine, LSD and GHB, was bought back before the courts for breaching her suspended sentenced.

Cindy-Jay Margaret Draper was sentenced to three years in jail, suspended for four years, in December 2020 after pleading guilty to 10 offences, including drug trafficking.

The 34-year-old mother was bought back to the Toowoomba Supreme Court in November after she breached the jail term by committing further drug offences.

The court heard the minor drug offences were the result of Draper relapsing and it was not the first time she breached her suspended sentence.

She was caught driving while unlicensed while in the possession of a suboxone strip, needle, and a scoop.

When she fronted the Toowoomba Magistrates Court in August 2024 and pleaded guilty to the charges she was sentenced to a 10 month probation order.

Despite relapsing, the court heard Draper was on the path to recovering and training for a job to help at-risk youth.

Justice Thomas Bradley reminded Draper she was given a chance in 2020 and reminded her she needed to get her life together, if not for herself, then for her children.

Justice Bradley found Draper had breached her suspended sentence and extended her order by six months.

The court heard her suspended jail term now ends on June 7, 2026.
