Three teens, 13, 15 and 16, arrested after major northern suburbs alleged crime spree

Three young teens – one aged just 13 – will face court after an alleged week-long crime spree that saw a person punched as they left a train, restaurant diners threatened and a string of robberies.

Three boys – one as young as 13 - will face court after an allegedly week-long crime spree in the northern suburbs.

In the early hours of Friday April 11, a house in Salisbury Downs was broken into as the residents slept. Their BMW sedan was stolen from their driveway.

Two days later, on Sunday April 13, two people left a train at the Mawson Lakes Interchange where they were approached by two youths.

One person was allegedly threatened and punched before his e-scooter was stolen.

At 3.15am on Tuesday this week, a property in Eyre was broken into and a car parked at the front of the address was entered.

On Thursday, a large amount of alcohol was stolen from a hotel on Peachey Rd in Davoren Park.

The next day, two victims were in a fast food restaurant on Elizabeth Way in Elizabeth when they were allegedly approached, threatened and had their mobile phones stolen.

SA Police said that following an investigation, three teenagers were arrested by members of the Youth and Street Gangs Task Force over the past few days.

They include a 13-year-old boy from Elizabeth charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, a 15-year-old boy from Blakeview charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle, driving at an extreme speed, aggravated serious criminal trespass, aggravated robbery and theft and a 16-year-old boy from Salisbury North charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle, driving at a speed dangerous, other driving offences and theft of petrol.

The three have been refused police bail and will remain in custody to face the Adelaide Youth Court on Tuesday.
