More than 100 roads across the state have been closed due to flash flooding, including dozens in central Queensland and on the Sunshine Coast.

It comes as the state braces over another lashing from a 200mm rain in a monster weather system.
The Bureau of Meteorology has also issued initial minor flood warnings for the Burnett and Boyne Rivers, Burrum and Cherwell Rivers, as well as the Kolan River.
A flood watch remains active for coastal catchments from Shoalwater Bay to Tweed Heads.
There is also a coastal hazard warning for parts of the Wide Bay and Burnett, as well as the South East Coast district.
