HUNDREDS of classical cars are set to take a drive down Warwick's main drag for this year's Jumpers and Jazz Festival.

Warwick's MG Car Club member Greg Newey is excited by the addition of Pontiacs, Monaros and Corvette Club cars.

"I think it is wonderful," he said.

"All car enthusiasts will be looking forward to this and will be able to appreciate the wide range of cars on display."

Mr Newey said his group was looking forward to this year's festival.

"Every local car group is very excited to bring their cars out for the public to see," he said.

Warwick Tourism and Events CEO Tracy Vellacott said the event would create awareness of Warwick's ties to motor sport.

"In particular we are helping to build Warwick's reputation as the Horsepower Capital of Australia," she said.

JAZZ IT UP

Finishes on July 29 with a picnic in Leslie Park with free entertainment and craft markets.
