Gardner Vaughan Group Marketing and Sales Director Samuel Gardner said construction would commence in early 2022 for the two towers, with an expected completion of late 2023.

The townhomes to the rear will not start construction until late 2023.

The price range of the apartments range from $539,000 to $2,399,000.

“We have developed in the Stockland precinct previously at Birtinya and this was a natural progression to Bokarina,” Mr Gardner told the Sunshine Coast Daily.

“Our clients loved the surrounding community spaces, infrastructure and connectivity of Birtinya and this has now incorporated the Bokarina precinct which we know will be attractive to our new buyers.”

He said the design of the apartments was aimed at downsizers and rightsizers in the local area as well as investors and first home buyers.

“It caters to all types of buyers looking at apartment living and it will also offer fantastic retail opportunities to attract people to this precinct,” Mr Gardner said.

“It will offer a retail precinct hub which will enable the residents to live, entertain and shop in this precinct.

“Of course the accessibility to the beach is also one of the major drawcards.”

“Zinc will have a relaxed coastal lifestyle feel with our neutral warm internal colour scheme palettes and our podium pool and recreational zones,” he said.

This development is one of many popping up around the Sunshine Coast next year, including 78 “Scandinavian-style” townhouses in Stockland’s Aura.

The new urban village will be positioned opposite the future Nirimba Village Hub which includes childcare facilities and a cafe.

Aura senior development manager Hannah Madill said the homes starting at $479,000 would be ready for buyers to move in to by late 2022.
