Emergency services are responding to a three vehicle crash in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, while one young man has been rescued after driving into floodwater in a separate incident.

Queensland Fire Department has one crew on the scene a three-car-crash at Cooran on Greenridge Pinbarren Road, from 8.14am.

A QFD spokesman said everyone was out of the cars.

Paramedics are also on the scene and assessing multiple people for injuries.

A young man has also been rescued overnight after driving into flood water on the Sunshine Coast – as the 137-year weather record continues.

The Sunshine State has been soaked by rainfall since Sunday, as an upper trough interacted with deep moisture and sustained onshore winds to cause widespread rain over the state.

Monday night, at Palmwoods, a car was caught in flood water on Chevallum Road, at 9.58pm.

Queensland Ambulance Service responded and rescued the young man in his 20s who was driving.

Earlier Monday night, a teenage boy was involved in a single car crash into a fence at Yandina Creek.

He suffered neck and back pain and was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following the crash at Toolborough Road at 6.19pm.

Woman rushed to hospital after car rolls, lands on roof

A woman has been rushed to hospital following a crash on the Sunshine Coast where a car rolled and landed on its roof.

Emergency Services responded to the crash on Ferguson Ave, Buderim, at 11.01am Tuesday.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said a crew attended the scene but they had since left the crash in the hands of police.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said a car had crashed, rolled, and landed on its roof.

A Queensland Ambulance Spokesman said a woman was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.
