Sunshine Coast police investigate alleged arson outside airport
Police have arrested a man after he allegedly lit a caravan on fire near the Sunshine Coast airport and injured a woman in an alleged domestic violence attack.

Police have arrested a man after he allegedly lit a caravan on fire at the Sunshine Coast airport and injured a woman in an alleged domestic violence attack.
Emergency services were called just after 8.30pm to an outdoor area along Friendship Drive, Marcoola.
A camper van was found on fire.
A woman sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital as a precaution.
A man, believed to be known to the woman, was taken into police custody at the scene.
No one else was physically injured, and there is no threat to the public.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said the fire was completely out by 9.20pm.
She said crews also attended for ‘smouldering’ at 2am, Thursday morning.
