Sunshine Coast hit and run: Police appeal for information after man hit by car at Little Mountain

Police are investigating after a young man riding an electric skateboard was seriously injured in a late-night hit and run on the Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in a hit and run at Little Mountain.

Initial investigations suggest a 29-year-old Coast man was struck by a vehicle while riding an electric skateboard along Parkview Drive about 11.30pm Tuesday.

The man was found a short time later and rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

No vehicle was located at the time of the man’s discovery.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Investigators have urged anyone who travelled on or near Parkview Drive between 10.30pm and midnight to come forward.

Anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision from the area that may be able to assist with investigations is also urged to talk to police.
