Revealed: Best ball users from QAFL and QAFLW 2023 competition

From the players who are a “constant threat” to those with accuracy and consistency, QAFL and QAFLW head coaches have named who is the best with a Sherrin in their hands.

As we approach the halfway point of the QAFL and QAFLW season we can reveal our next instalment of who the head coaches have named as their teams “best ball user”.

Each week we have revealed each team’s standout out players, with toughest players and best in the air to be uncovered in the coming weeks.

Week 7: Best user of the footy

QAFL

Maroochydore, Ben Jones: Jackson Bury, has arguably the title of best kick at the club. He’s incredibly accurate and just as consistent.

Aspley Hornets, Luke Glacken: Anna Van De Wiel, has returned to the fold this season following a heavy injury setback but can do some freaky stuff with the footy and very rarely misses a target.

Coorparoo Kings, Rebecca Randazzo: Jess Watts

Maroochydore, Dave Hume: Imagen David, serves as a constant threat with her hands on the footy creating positive space and options for her teammates.

Yeronga, Lisa Milne: Maddy Goodwin

Wilston Grange, Brenton Meddings: Keyshia Matenga, always knows the best place to put the footy and rarely puts her side in a backwards position. It‘s almost as if the clock stops when she has the ball in her hands.
