Short supply and “play money” from eager cash buyers in the “billionaires’ club” is continuing to drive the sale of prestige homes in Noosa as recent sales defy nationwide property declines.

Record-setting Noosa agent Eric Seetoo from Tom Offermann Real Estate offered some insights into what was driving the mega deals.

“People buy ‘cause they can afford it, no finance, and they are all top of their trade,” he said.

Mr Seetoo has been in the business for 27 years and said many of the mammoth sales were cultivated over time.

“Some of these properties I have sold site unseen and that’s a lot of trust for anything around that $20m mark,” he said.

We’ve uncovered 10 recently purchased homes proving premium Noosa property prices are still gaining ground after two supercharged years.
