Police have released images of men who can help in their investigation as they continue to hunt for the people who allegedly bashed three men in a Maroochydore party precinct.

About 2.15am on February 4, a 23-year-old Teneriffe man with by two Mooloolaba men, aged 30 and 25, were walking along Ocean St near the intersection of Horton Parade.

Police say the three men were approached by a group of unknown men and assaulted.

The 23-year-old man, who in February identified himself to the Sunshine Coast Daily as Ryan but did not want to give his last name while his attackers were still on the loose, fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

He received cuts and bruising and was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Since the February attack, police have introduced a new security measure to the Ocean St party precinct.

Jack’s Law, which was approved by state Parliament in March, gives police the power to search people for knives in party precincts and on public transport.
