Rescue crews called to help hiker on Mount Ngungun

A woman hiker is in hospital after she was rescued from the top of Mount Ngungun in the Glass House Mountains this afternoon.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman was transported in a stable condition with an ankle injury to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokesman said four fire crews were called to the scene about 3pm and a remote rescue crew met the hiker.
The spokesman said the crew had provided first aid to the woman before starting the descent.
He said the Queensland Police, the State Emergency Service and Queensland Ambulance Service were on the scene.
