A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said ambulance officers were called to the scene of the single-vehicle crash on Maleny Kenilworth Rd about 9.20am and found a man in his 70s with head and chest injuries.

An ambulance service spokeswoman said a rescue helicopter was at the scene and ambulance officers had loaded the rider into the chopper.

She said he was in a stable condition.

The spokesman earlier said the man came off his motorbike on the Maleny side of Green Park at the bottom of the range.

In a separate incident, ambulance officers were also called to a single-vehicle crash in Mountain Creek about 10am.

A car had crashed into a pole on the corner of Barramundi Crt and Garnet St.

The spokeswoman said all emergency services and Energex were at the scene.

She said ambulance officers were assessing two people, one in their 40s and the other in their 70s.

The spokeswoman said one patient was being assessed for chest injuries and the other for seatbelt-related injuries.
