Lokhlan William Moran-Cook, 21, stole groceries, headphones, drove stolen cars, breached his bail and assaulted a man during his offending from October 2020 to November 2021, Caloundra Magistrates Court heard.

The Hervey Bay man’s escapades stretched from Brisbane up to Hervey Bay where he racked up other offences including failing to appear, possessing drugs and trespass.

The court heard the most serious offence was from July 26 2021 in Chermside where a dispute over a backpack led to a man being knocked unconscious by Moran-Cook.

Magistrate Catherine Benson said Moran-Cook pushed a man onto a tiled floor and hit his head which knocked him unconscious.

The court was told it was unclear how long the victim had been knocked out for but only regained consciousness when he was taken away by paramedics.
