One car rolled down an embankment into bush and another smashed into a light pole following a three-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Coast.

Two people were injured in the crash that occurred on the intersection of Caloundra and Sugar Bag roads in Little Mountain.

A man was trapped in a vehicle for a short time before getting himself out.

Emergency services were called to the incident about 2.50pm Saturday.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said one of the vehicles involved went down a hill into bushland and another “knocked out” a light pole.

Two people in stable conditions were transported by paramedics to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital following the crash.

Paramedics have had a busy day on the Sunshine Coast, after they looked over 10 people following an earlier three-vehicle crash on Fishermans Rd in Maroochydore.

Paramedics were called to that incident about 10.40am.

No one was injured.
