A Bushland Beach teenager was allegedly lured to a secluded spot in the Sunshine Coast hinterland before he was robbed with a shotgun gel blaster that was shoved against his throat, a court has heard.

Jayden Mitchell Skelt, 30, of Morayfield, and Liam Seige Harley, 28, of Maroochydore were held in custody on Monday for their alleged involvement in a robbery in Glenview on Friday night.

Maroochydore Magistrates Court was told the 18-year-old alleged victim from Bushland Beach had pulled into a Glenview service station about 9pm and helped four men change a tyre on their car.

Magistrate Matthew McLaughlin said the four men allegedly offered the good Samaritan a small amount of free marijuana for his trouble and “lured him” to a secluded area down the road.

The court heard Mr Skelt had allegedly approached the driver’s seat window and demanded the teenager’s phone.

Police claim a gel blaster shotgun was allegedly shoved against the teenager’s throat by one of the four men.

It’s alleged by police a gold chain was taken from the complainant by Mr Harley and a phone was taken by Mr Skelt.

Police allege Mr Skelt transferred an unknown amount of money out of the teenager’s bank account from the phone.

It was alleged in court the victim was threatened by the group that they would “come back to get him” after his photo and name was taken down.

The court heard the men claimed the teenager was allegedly a drug dealer who sold them poor quality drugs and they had “relieved him of his property” after he ripped them off.

“It doesn’t matter whether he’s a good Samaritan or whether he’s a drug dealer he doesn’t deserve to be robbed,” Mr McLaughlin said.

Mr McLaughlin said the alleged robbers were also “inept” with the group tracked to a nearby hotel.

Police allege Mr Skelt was found with the teenager’s phone and in the same clothes from the service station’s CCTV footage.

Mr Allen said the victim identified Mr Skelt when he spoke to Caloundra police following the alleged robbery.

The court heard Mr Skelt was a qualified builder and landscaper and would comply with any bail conditions, while -also having strong family support.

Mr McLaughlin said the charges speak of people who were “ruthless” and “desperate” to get a hold of money in what was a “chilling” robbery.

Mr Skelt’s bail was denied.

His matters were adjourned to July 15 where he faced charges of robbery, possessing drugs, possessing property suspected of being used in connection with the commission of a drug offence and possessing a weapon.

His co-accused Mr Harley had his matters adjourned to Friday.
