An 18-year-old man who, along with three teenagers, allegedly threatened to stab another teenager at a busy bus stop only metres from the Noosa Heads glitter strip will remain in custody, a court has been told.
Elijah Leo Seeto, 18, had his matter mentioned in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on December 5 after he and three other teenagers, two aged 15 and one aged 17, were arrested following the alleged robbery at the bus stop on the corner of Noosa Parade and Noosa Dr, near Hastings St, about 12.10pm Sunday, December 3.
Mr Seeto is charged with one count of robbery while in company and pretending to be armed and one of seriously assaulting an officer causing bodily harm.
His matter was adjourned from Monday, December 4, to Tuesday where he was expected to have a bail application; but duty lawyer Kylie Anderson told the court on Tuesday that her client, who did not physically appear in court, was looking for a bail address and there was no application for bail.
His matter was adjourned to early 2024 for committal mention in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court.
Police allege Mr Seeto and the three teenagers took jewellery and threatened to stab a 17-year-old teenage boy.
The group was not granted police bail on December 3 and held in the Maroochydore Watchhouse.
The court remained closed for about half an hour on Monday, December 4, as the 17 and 15-year-old’s matters were mentioned.
Court documents revealed Mr Seeto allegedly pretended to be armed with a knife during the alleged robbery in Noosa.
The alleged assault occurred at the Maroochydore Watchhouse.
The court remained closed for about half an hour as the three accused teenagers’ matters were mentioned.
