A woman was taken to a Sunshine Coast hospital following a house fire and firefighters also rushed to a separate caravan blaze overnight.

Firefighters were called to Royal Cl in Wurtulla about 6.15pm on November 1 and found the kitchen on fire and a second fire in a bedroom.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said the blaze was “contained” to those parts of the home and all occupants were accounted for.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a woman was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with an arm injury.

The fire spokeswoman said the blaze was extinguished by 9.30pm.

A second, separate fire also started in a caravan overnight.

Firefighters rushed to Minchinton St in Caloundra about 12.45am.

The fire spokeswoman said no one was inside the caravan when crews arrived and it was extinguished just after 1am.

She said no other homes were under threat during the blaze.

Paramedics looked over a woman at the scene and she did not go to hospital.

More to come.
