Police will allege a Beerwah man dealt drugs including meth and weed via a tick sheet after he was found with cash on hand.

David Michael Schmidt, 30, had his eight charges committed in Caloundra Magistrates Court on Wednesday August 3, 2022 following his arrest on April 2, 2022 in Beerwah.

Caloundra Magistrates Court heard between March 30 to April 2, 2022 Schmidt allegedly supplied drugs including meth and marijuana five times.

Magistrate Catherine Benson said it was further alleged by police he was found with cash, meth, marijuana, scales, bags and a tick sheet.

It’s alleged by police the cash found was the proceeds of a drug offence.

His five counts of supplying drugs, and one of possessing drugs, possessing property suspected of being proceeds of an offence and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime were committed to the Maroochydore District Court on a date to be determined.

Defence lawyer Rowan King said the 30-year-old Beerwah man would plead guilty to breaching his bail on April 15, 2022, where he failed to report to police.

Mr King said Mr Schmidt forgot which day it was, which is why he didn’t report for bail.

Mr Schmidt pleaded guilty to breaching bail and was fined $150, with a conviction recorded.
