Two people are in hospital after a crash near a Sunshine Coast high school.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the scene on Havana Rd East, Coolum Beach, about 2.45pm on Wednesday to reports of the crash, initially reported as a bus and car crash near Coolum Beach State High School.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said it was a three-vehicle crash and one of the cars had rolled onto its roof.

Another ambulance spokeswoman said two women, both in their late teens, were being assessed in stable conditions by paramedics for head and neck pain. They were taken to Nambour General Hospital.
