A former Maroochydore security guard accused of using his position to terrorise women is facing almost 90 charges after fresh allegations were levelled against him.

A young man accused of preying on women while working as a security guard at Maroochydore’s nightlife precinct is facing more charges, a court has been told.

Callum Luke Westcott Fisher, 24, faces more than 80 allegations including assaults, deprivation of liberty, extortion, fraud, torture and stalking in relation to 12 women.

He did not appear in person at the Maroochydore Magistrates Court for committal mention on Friday, July 28.

The court was told he had new charges in relation to one of the 12 alleged victims.

This included two counts of distributing prohibited visual recordings and one of observing or recording in breach of privacy, bringing his total number of charges to 88.

The court was told this was the first mention in relation to the fresh charges.

He is yet to enter a plea for any of the 88 charges.

Mr Fisher was remanded in custody and will return to the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on December 15.

Police alleged he used his position as a security guard at Maroochydore’s Ocean St precinct, Noosa Safe Night precinct and a Birtinya shopping centre, was misusing his position to target women.

He was arrested in March, 2022 after police carried out an investigation into his alleged conduct against several women dating as far back as 2018.
