A Beerwah man has been charged after he allegedly rammed a woman’s car off the road in an alleged domestic violence attack on Saturday, August 26.

Police allege the 29-year-old man was driving a 2008 Volkswagen Golf erratically along Buchannan Rd in Morayfield about 8.20am when he collided with a silver Holden Commodore, driven by a 31-year-old Bellmere woman.

Both cars were allegedly forced off the road, but the Bellmere woman managed to drive to a nearby petrol station to call for help.

No one was physically injured.

Police allege the Beerwah man then fled before being found nearby and was arrested by police shortly thereafter.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the Golf, with Queensland registration 007GW2, driving erratically through Morayfield on Saturday between 8am and 9.15am to come forward immediately. Photo: QPS
