Aroona police raid: More charges laid after cocaine, MDMA drug bust
Four people have been charged over a major drug bust in a sleepy Sunshine Coast street, where police seized $320,000 in cash, a quarter of a kilogram of cocaine and 113g of MDMA.

Four men will face court next month after being charged over a major drug raid in a sleepy Sunshine Coast town, police have confirmed.
The Sunshine Coast Tactical Crime Squad conducted three search warrants in Aroona on Thursday, July 13, where a quarter of a kilogram of cocaine, about 113g of MDMA and about 9kg of cannabis along with drug utensils and $320,000 were seized.
Sunshine Coast Tactical Crime Squad Officer in Charge Senior Sergeant Scott Wiggins said the approximate street value of the drugs was $200,000.
Four people were arrested and charged following the July 13 raid.
Sergeant Wiggins said a 72-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 58-year-old man, all from Aroona, were charged on July 13.
Sergeant Wiggins said the 72-year-old was charged with six drug offences, the 58-year-old was charged with five possessing drug offences and the 44-year-old was charged with a lone charge of possessing dangerous drugs.
A 26-year-old Aroona man was also charged with drug trafficking.
The 72-year-old man was given police bail and will appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on August 25.
The 44-year-old, 26-year-old and 58-year-old men were given notices to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on August 4 and the Caloundra Magistrates Court on August 9, respectively.
