Community support is flowing for the family of Sunshine Coast father-of-two Bryce Williams as his grieving partner breaks her silence and more details emerge of the tragedy.

The tragic truth about road deaths in Australia

The grieving partner of Sunshine Coast father-of-two Bryce Williams has publicly shared her heartbreak for the first time.

Mr Williams was hit by a car while jogging along Nanango Brooklands Rd near Kingaroy on September 6, and died of his injuries at the scene.

His death sent shockwaves through the community, after his grieving family shared their heartbreak with the Sunshine Coast Daily on September 9.

Now, his partner, Sunshine Coast influencer and successful business owner Abbey Ginns, has shared her heartbreak in the wake of her “beautiful, perfect person’s” death.

Ms Ginns shared a heartfelt tribute to her late partner with more than 37,100 Instagram followers on September 11.

“The pain in my heart is harrowing, this is incomprehensible. My beautiful, perfect person, how can you be gone …” she wrote in an Instagram post on September 11, 2022.

“I’m struggling to find the words to do you justice. You touched more lives than somebody would in 100 lifetimes my darling. The safest, most hilarious, generous golden light in our lives. The epitome of the best guy on earth.

“Your heart is in mine, Woodi’s and Rome’s indefinitely. I have no more words, only tears. You are my forever, you are my home. I love you.”

It comes as a GoFundMe campaign organised in support of Mr Williams’ family more than tripled its goal in less than a week.

At the time of publishing, the fundraiser has reached $373,353; with the highest donation $50,000 from an anonymous donor.

Mr Williams’ best friend of more than 20 years, Nathan Groves, and Mr Williams’ younger brother, Mitchell Williams, told the Sunshine Coast Daily on September 9 he was in the area for work, and was jogging after a family holiday in Vietnam.

“He actually rang Nathan before went to the job to say … “after eating and drinking his way through Vietnam” he thought he’d go for a jog to start the process of knocking a few KG’s off (sic),” Mr Williams’ brother said.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said on September 12 investigations into Mr Williams’ death were ongoing, and a 51-year-old Nanango man was helping with their inquiries.

No one has been charged.
