Police are appealing for information on an unknown car that allegedly helped a 17-year-old boy flee the scene of a crash on the Bruce Hwy.
Officers were called to the three-car crash on the Bruce Highway southbound about 4.15pm on Sunday, just south of Roys Rd.
Police allege a black Subaru Impreza was speeding and driving dangerously before crashing into a silver Holden Captiva and a white Isuzu D-Max.
No one was injured in the crash.
The Subaru driver, a 17-year-old Caboolture man, was then allegedly picked up by “a white single cab utility with aluminium tray similar to a Holden Rodeo or Hilux”, according to police.
The passenger of the Subaru was left at the scene of the crash.
It is further alleged the driver was dropped off at service station on the Bruce Highway at the Glass House Mountains, where police were called to a physical altercation.
The 17-year-old was arrested at about 5pm before he was released as investigations continue.
Police are calling on the public to help identify the unknown ute along with any dashcam footage drivers may have on the incident.
