Mooloolaba’s beachfront was even more of a hive of activity with crowds enjoying markets, live music and entertainment at the Foreshore Festival. SEE THE GALLERY

The Mooloolaba beachfront came alive on Saturday with live music, markets and entertainment at the Foreshore Festival.

Families enjoyed meeting the mermaids and the pirates as well as spotting the sand sculptures on the beach.

Crowds of families and people gathered at the event, braving some sunny and hot conditions.

The “Ocean Alley” offered ocean displays and workshops, delicious food, as well as rides, face painting and activities.

The festival is held from 12-8pm at the Mooloolaba Esplanade.
