Two children are among four people taken to hospital after a kitchen fire started in a Sunshine Coast unit on Wednesday afternoon.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a man and woman were taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital along with two children, after a fire broke out in a kitchen on Maloja Ave in Caloundra.
It is understood they were all in a stable condition.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said three crews were called to the unit where a large amount of smoke was coming from the kitchen.
It comes as fire crews battled to put out a caravan fire in a popular Dicky Beach holiday park just after 2pm.
A QFD spokesman said three crews were initially called to the caravan fire in a holiday park on Beerburrum St in Dicky Beach, with more crews then called to the scene.
He said one caravan was completely engulfed by fire and another damaged.
The fire was under control about 2.50pm.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said no one from the holiday park required any treatment.
