Eumundi tree branch fall: Teenager flown to hospital after being struck by falling tree branch
A seriously injured teenager has been flown to hospital after he was struck by a falling branch on a Sunshine Coast hinterland property – hours after a woman was flown to hospital in a separate incident in the Noosa region.

A teenager has been flown to hospital in Brisbane with serious injuries after he was struck by a falling branch at a Sunshine Coast hinterland property.
Paramedics were called to the property off Crescent Rd in Eumundi at about 12.45pm on Sunday, November 12, following reports a male in his late teens had been hit on the head by a falling branch.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the teenager was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition with head and spinal injuries.
She said it was reported the branch came from a tree which was being felled.
It was the second serious incident on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday after a woman in her 50s was flown to hospital after a light plane piloted by her husband crashed into a backyard at Cootharaba at about 9am.
