The 2023 Sunshine Coast Business Awards was a night to remember as the business community gathered to celebrate the movers and shakers of their industry and everyone’s successes.
The gala this year was held on Saturday at the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre where more than 900 people, including finalists and sponsors, gathered to celebrate the Sunshine Coast business community’s night of nights.
Sunshine Coast Business Awards chairwoman Jennifer Swaine said 205 businesses entered the awards this year, with 137 finalists named. There were also five new hall of fame inductees, who have won their category for the past three years.
Amaze World at Tanawha was crowned business of the year, while also taking home the award for Experiences in the large business category for the second year running.

Student accused of having ‘knives, hit list’ and making kill threats
Police are patrolling a Sunshine Coast high school after a bathroom wall graffiti message threatening to stab students was uncovered, with claims the student also had knives and a hit list at school.
