Lengthy delays expected on Bruce Highway after two crashes on Sunshine Coast

Motorists are being warned to expect lengthy delays after two crashes within 20 minutes on the Bruce Highway at the Sunshine Coast.

Lengthy delays are expected on the Bruce Highway after two crashes on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday.

A spokeswoman from the Queensland Police Service said the first crash happened at Forest Glen at 5.22pm.

Two vehicles were believed to be involved, including one which had hit the guard rail.

One of the vehicles was blocking a lane, the spokeswoman said.

The spokeswoman said it was believed a caravan had rolled in the second incident, which happened about 5.40pm.

She said motorists should expect lengthy delays as crews worked to clear the scene.

Paramedics were at the scene of both incidents but a spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said no information was available regarding injuries.
