A real estate agent is tipping a luxury Sunshine Coast home up for sale for the first time in a decade will bust the $6m mark.
The four-bedroom and four-bathroom house at 15B Burgess St spread across four levels sits one street back from the Esplanade at Kings Beach in Caloundra.
It has its own putting green, portholes in the walls that give underwater views into a second-level 25m lap pool and a fully equipped bar and cinema room.
Elite Lifestyle Properties lead agent Brooke Walters, son of rugby league legend Kerrod Walters who also works for the real estate business, said he could not think of home with a better view because of its elevated 1106sq m block.
“On a clear day you see from Coolum all the way down to the Glasshouse Mountains,” Mr Walters said.
The 27-year-old followed his dad into the real estate game in 2021.
The lead agent said this sale may break the $6m mark when it goes to auction on May 21.
Mr Walters said the owners, who did not wish to be named, had loved the home and were motivated to sell because they had bought in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
The lead agent, who grew up in Caloundra, said he had spent years walking past some of the “premium properties” he had sold over the past couple of years.
“Now being able to represent some of them is pretty special,” he said.
The home was built in 2007.
Mr Walters said there had been interest in the sale from across Australia and internationally with inquiries coming from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom and Singapore.
Property records show the home was last sold in 2012 for $3.15m.
