Ten people, including a baby, have been taken to hospital after a multi car crash in Buderim on New Year’s Eve.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Mooloolaba Rd and Pheasant St in Buderim to reports of a four-vehicle crash at 3.10pm.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said ten people involved in the crash were taken to hospital, including two children and an infant.
The spokesman said five people, including two men in their 70s with abdominal pain, a preteen girl with neck pain, a woman in her 60s with neck and shoulder pain and a woman in her 30s with back pain were taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
Another four people, including an infant with a shoulder injury, a woman in her 30s with neck pain, a man in his 50s with back pain, a man in his 30s with back pain were taken to Nambour Hospital in stable conditions.
A young boy was also taken to Nambour Hospital for observation.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said police were directing traffic at the scene.
It comes after two people were killed in a horror accident at the Glasshouse Mountains on December 31, after a tree fell on their car.
