ONE Nation leader Steve Dickson has come under fire for saying primary school children are being taught how to masturbate and use strap on dildos under the controversial Safe Schools program.

Speaking on the Sunshine Coast with Senator Pauline Hanson, Mr Dickson said Queensland was being “infiltrated by mad lefty people who want to destroy the family unit”.

“We are having little kids in grade four at school, these are young girls being taught by teachers how to masturbate, how to strap on dildos, how to do this sort of stuff, that’s the real problem in this country,” Mr Dickson told media.

“Our state is being infiltrated by mad lefty people who want to destroy the family unit.

“We will abolish that if we get elected.”

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the comments were “atrocious” and Safe Schools was not being taught in Queensland classrooms.

“That is complete and utter nonsense,” Ms Palaszczuk said.

“I have spoken to the Education Minister. Safe schools is not taught in the classroom. Support is given to teachers and also to families.

“I don’t want to see any young person in our classrooms bullied or intimidated and I don’t want to see a young person harm themselves either and that is why the principals, teachers and the families support one another.

“It is an atrocious comment. Absolutely atrocious.

“I am absolutely lost for words that someone would dare say such things that are simply and utterly not true.”

She also slammed his comments regarding domestic violence.

“I think everybody acknowledges domestic violence is a serious issue.”

Mr Dickson said his party’s domestic violence policy looked at the whole family.

“We are looking after the whole family unit - the man, the woman and the child,” he said.

“We’ve got to see what’s going on in that family unit. There are 21 men a week committing suicide.

“One Nation is a party for the whole party unit. Holistic policy about the whole family.”
