• Her dad used to take her to Lang Park to watch Brothers play
• In year 9 she won a ‘help police fight crime” competition
• She also once won a trip to Townsville
• Performed in Snow White at the Old Regent Theatre
• Worked at the souvenir shop outside Expo 88
• At high school won selection to go on a writer’s camp
• Grandmother’s family were Baptists from Boonah. The family were among the first settlers in Boonah
• Great grandfather was a German free settler in Boonah – a blacksmith then a carpenter
• Father and two sisters are teachers

• There ‘s only two types of music he likes – Country and Western
